• New Zealand singer Lorde has snagged herself a contract with M.A.C. Cosmetics for a collection due to launch this summer. There are few details as to what the range’s lineup might be, but I wager there will at least be a vampy purple lipstick shade, as that seems to be Lorde’s go-to lippie. Also, it doesn’t hurt that M.A.C.’s face chart for Lorde’s tour makeup looks include–you guessed it: a dark lip. The singer announced the collab on her website, saying she’s been a fan of the Canadian cosmetics company for years: “I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends! MAC has a very clear aesthetic, that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too.” Can’t wait to see what she delivers! (The Cut)
