A bevy of stars gathered for the 46th Annual NAACP Image Awards presented by TV One at Pasadena Civic Auditorium. There was no shortage of gowns and glam.
Take a look:
Angela Bassett was simply stunning in a black and beaded mesh accented number, enlivened by Karine Sultan cuffs. Can I be like her when I grow up? Seriously, this woman is
flaw free.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw was simply stunning in a lemon yellow strapless
Burberry dress and belt,
Brian Atwood shoes, and an Edie Parker clutch.
Tracee Ellis Ross slayed the scene in a deep plunge dress, topped off by a bright red lip. Yasssss!
Real Housewives of Atlanta newcomer Demetria McKinney went for avant garde in a
Cary Santiago gown and
Stuart Weitzman heels. I love the color of her frock, but the design has me scratching my head. It’s definitely a conversation piece!
Tika Sumpter’s green
Roland Mouret dress was an interesting choice.
Tessa Thompson looked pretty in blush pink.
Kerry Washington killed it in red
Zuhair Murad. She’s absolutely gorgeous.
Gabrielle Union was the belle of the ball in an abdomen baring voluminous
Gauri & Nainika gown. This is one of her best red carpet looks of all time.
Garcelle Beauvais opted for colorful in a multi-hued, printed strapless number. Hmm…not my favorite look from her.
Shemar Moore was in the house.
Actor Henry Simmons looked delicious in all black.
Uzo Aduba gave vintage Hollywood glam in what appears to be a
Zac Posen creation. Hot!
Her co-star Laverne Cox donned a purple Gustavo Cadile gown for the festivities.
Gina Torres’s black ensemble was amplified by semi sheer details.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Omarosa out and about! The former reality TV regular looked red carpet ready in cream. Beautiful!
Niecy Nash uplifted an all black, off the shoulder
La Petite Robe di Chiara Boni gown with sparkling jewels. Love it.
Lastly, Teyonah Parris looked magical in a Haus of Falenci’ago champagne colored, tulle accented gown.
Phew, that does it!
Whose look was your favorite of the night?
